Karma Pilot

What is Karma

Karma is an app that turns positive choices, like eating plant-based, buying second-hand and choosing sutainable travel, into financial rewards.

We're running a small, time-limited pilot testing whether cash incentives encourage sustainable choices ahead of finalising the app. Verification and payouts are manual in this pilot.

Pilot details

Duration: Until March 31st 2026

Eligible actions:

• Vegan / Plant-based food purchases (1 £ per verified receipt)

• Second-hand clothing purchases (2.5 £ per verified receipt)

• Minimum purchase value of 5 £

How to submit

Submit a clear photo of a receipt proving your sustainable action through our submission form (or WhatsApp). The image should include:

• Merchant

• Item description

• Price

• Date

What does NOT count

• Old receipts (pre-pilot)

• Items that are not clearly vegan or second-hand

Limits

• Maximum total payout per participant: £50

• Karma reserves the right to reject submissions that are unclear or dishonest

How to join

• Join by submitting a receipt of a verified action

• Spots are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payouts

• Payouts sent via your preferred method (Bank transfer, Revolut or Monzo) and within 24hrs of submission.
